Due
to
the
rarity
and
value
of
this
species
we
have
had
to
place
the
followings
terms
of
sale
in
order
to
protect
both ourselves and the client from any unfortunate problems.
1.
All
birds
sold
by
us
will
be
parent
reared
,
hand
reared
or
a
combination
of
both
and
each
bird
will
be
closed
rung with a stainless steel ring. You will be informed of this on your enquiry.
2.
Any
bird
sold
by
us
will
be
tested
for
Psitacosis
(Chlamidya
Psitacci),
PBFD
(Circovirus
Aviar),
Avian
Polyoma
and
a
certificate
will
be
issued
identifying
the
bird
via
it’s
closed
ring
on
purchase.
A
client
has
the
option
to
test
the
bird
themselves
by
collecting
the
blood
sample
in
person
and
sending
it
off
for
disease
analysis
prior
to
any
purchase.
A
client
is
responsible
for
financing
any
disease
test
they
carry
out
themselves.
Our
own
disease
tests
are free. All split for blue birds will come with a certificate of guarantee.
3.
On
enquiry
of
a
sale
and
if
there
is
availability,
then
a
deposit
of
10%
will
be
required
to
reserve
the
bird/s.
Should
a
client
withdraw
from
the
sale
without
a
valid
reason,
i.e
a
problem
with
the
bird
which
a
client
was
unaware
of,
or
disease
tests
coming
back
positive,
then
the
deposit
will
not
be
refunded.
If
a
client
is
unable
to
complete
the
purchase
on
an
agreed
date
due
to
financial
or
other
reasons
then
we
hold
the
right
to
keep
the
deposit
in
full.
Please
be
aware
that
there
is
a
size
difference
between
normal
eclectus
and
the
blue
mutation
and
this does not constitute a valid reason to withdraw from a sale.
For
clients
outside
the
UK,
we
are
prepared
to
meet
at
any
entry
point
within
the
UK
for
sales
only.
A
certificate
of
health
can
also
be
issued
by
our
vet
for
export
purposes
as
close
to
the
export
date
as
possible.
However
a
charge
of
£200
or
equivalent
will
be
allocated
in
a
clients
deposit
to
cover
our
travel
expense
to
meet
you
and
a
charge
of
£100
will
be
allocated
from
a
clients
deposit
for
the
vet
certificate.
These
amounts
will
be
deducted
from
the
final
amount
on
purchase.
Should
a
purchase
not
be
made
regardless
of
reason,
we
hold
the
right
to
keep these charges to cover our expenses.
4.
Any
bird
which
leaves
our
care
is
no
longer
our
responsibility
and
any
illness,
injury,
death
or
other
problem
including export out of the country remains the sole responsibility of the client.
5.
Purchasing
any
bird
does
not
give
right
to
a
client
to
view
our
breeding
collection
due
to
security
issues
and
a
mutual meeting point will be arranged for any disease test/purchase.
Any purchase by a client is made on the basis that they have read, understand and agree to our terms of sale.
